Tea Tree Oil – Has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Reduces acne, targets both inflamed and non-inflamed lesions.
Witch Hazel – Cleans skin as an astringent, makes pores less visible. Disinfects the skin, reduces swelling and inflammation, prevents new acne development.
Elm Extract – Soothes irritated and inflamed skin, promotes wound healing, reduces eczema and other skin irritations.
Silk Crystal – Natural silk protein in the form of silk fibroin. A gentle yet intensive moisturizer. Stabilizes sensitive skin, blocks UV rays, promotes skin regeneration.
Ginseng – Firms and tones skin, boosts collagen, smooths lines and wrinkles, reduces puffiness and dark circles.
Formulated without: Parabens, propylene glycol, petrolatum, sodium lauryl sulfate, synthetic fragrances or coloring agents, or mineral oil.
Directions
After cleansing, apply our Blemish Control Essence if desired, then spread two pumps of our Blemish Clarifying Lotion onto the entire face, avoiding the eye area. Use twice daily, in the morning and evening, to calm and stabilize inflamed skin. Follow with a moisturiser as needed.

Q: What’s the difference between Forest MD’s various moisturisers?
Forest MD’s Blemish Clarifying Lotion is a gentle plant-based hydrating lotion that helps to reduce blemishes, maintain a clear complexion and prevent future breakouts. It is suitable for inflamed, acne-prone skins, and can be topped with an additional moisturiser when used on blemish-prone skins that are drier.
Meanwhile, our Ultra-Light Nutrient Lotion is our most weightless anti-ageing moisturiser. It is suitable for everyday use on oily or sensitive acne-prone skin. It is also great for those who exercise or perspire a lot, or for those who normally don’t like using moisturisers because they feel too heavy on the skin.
For a little more moisture, our Muru Muru Age-Defy Cream is a lightweight cream. It is great for all-round anti-ageing and repair, and suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. It is a little richer than our Ultra-Light Nutrient Lotion, and is particularly good for moderately dry skin.

Despite my mature age of 73 yrs, I still get troublesome white heads, black heads and occasional “bumps” mainly in the oily T – center area (around nose, below chin). And in past few months, rough spots have also appeared below angle of my jaws. I can’t see these spots, but I can feel the “roughness” there. Since I started using this product a few weeks ago, twice a day on these affected areas, I’ve found that the white heads are less, and when they appear, they are easy to remove with gentle pressure. The “lumps” haven’t appeared, and generally I have a cleaner, blemish-free skin. More importantly, this treatment product doesn’t dry up the skin, unlike all other acne-skin preparations that tend to dry up the affected skin areas.
